Good or bad idea? Well I'm already 125 pages into it, actually, but I hear people ranting about how much it sucks. If I read through it entirely and take notes do you think it's very feasible for me to get a 4? Or should I not try slash try another source for reviewing. I'm in the class and I have an A I guess but I really don't feel I learned enough to get a 4 from that alone. I'm a 6-8 type of writer.

yeah don't read the rea... PERUSE it (sats this saturday, anyone? = / ).. like read each paragraph.. and try to memorize everything in it.. and repeat this process 10000x times. uhm although it has alot of irrelevant info on it.. you should try to get as much as possible. If you do this around 2-3 times, you should get everything, including your 5 (you should go for it, if you actually have notes and you get 6-8's on your essays) and do practice tests! do them, get familiar with the format, etc. also try to learn from the tests.. check the explanation on the back of the book for even the correct answers (and don't get disoucraged by rea.. it's really hard compared to the real thing... if you hit around 2/3 to 3/4 mc's right on the rea.. you are most likely hitting a 4-5). well good luck. hope this helped. one last thing: don't panic, the real thing is not really that hard compared to what you learned throughout the year. they can only test you on so many GENERAL things.. well payce

Hey Joel Set,
Are you sure that if I get 2/3 of the REA multiple choice questions right I will be guarenteed at least a 4? Because the first time I took the first practice test i only got half of them right

ey,
lotta my friends have the REA book.
well, i was wondering if taking the 6 tests from the book is useful. i could just borrow a friend's for 2 days and take all the tests.
i'm almost done reviewing. i'm on ww1!

Arow: I took an REA practice test and got 50/80. Then on an actual AP Exam we took at school I got 60/80 and a 5 overall. (That's less than 2/3 on REA, to make you feel better. And I even took a couple points off all my essays grades to end up with a 5.)
