Okay, so I went on amazon to read reviews of various preparation texts and I left a bit befuddled. Ostensibly, every single prep book is bad, off topic, not rigorous enough, lacking detail, including too much detail, or riddled with errors of every kind. So, I'll try my luck here... for those who have taken it before, what is the better prep book for a 770-800 score? Surely, people are getting 800s and they must have used one of those books! And as a side note, what is the approximate curve?

a prep book won't automatically give you an 770-800 score. this is a pretty useless post.
