Which SAT Prep book (Barron's, Princeton Review, etc) is the best?

Barron's for sure!
I tried all of them (PR, Kaplan, Gruber's, Barron's, REA, ARCO and Peterson's )
This is MY conclusion:
PR is easy-easy ,only about 200-words in the wordlist, if you don't have much time to prepare, use this
Kaplan is mediocre...around 2000,use this if you have about a month or two
Gruber's-use if you need math help,
Barron's-very good!
Arco-Master the SAT--their diagnostic is harder than practice tests to make you believe that you've improved.
and NEVER buy peterson's , everything in their prep books suk!
Hope that helped! =)

I didn't think PR was too easy. Thought it was pretty great for the strategies. What was best about the tests was the answer explanations.
Be sure to use 10 Real SATs for extra practice, but use PR for strategy.

The thing that sucks about the 10 Real SATs is that they don't explain the answers for the practice tests.
I feel that could improve more if they just explain the questions that you get wrong or omit.

There is a 10 Reals Solution book which explains all the answers.

Jens, 10 Real SATs Solutions only explains 2 of the 10.

Oh my gosh... I borrowed a couple of Peterson's books from my library to study for the APs and they're terrible!! I'd hate to have Calc and Physics teachers like them! On the other hand, the Barrons for World History and Computer Science are BEAUTIFUL!! They actually make me remember stuff and learn new things!
