it's not a general ed course for college and its not like I'm majoring in business or anything, so why take the exam? I'm a senior, btw, so that fact that I didn't take it has nothing to do w/ admissions

You might change your mind later down the road and major in business. The credit may count toward a general elective requirement. At the very worst, it will show profeciency in statistics on your transcript.

Elective credit, at the least! If you're good at statistics, no reason to not take it.
