I was doing some of the past SAT papers, and it seems to me that the older papers are much easier... what do you think?

interestingly, the scoring was re-adjusted in the late 1990's (i think after 95) because scores were dropping so that the average score was below 1000. Scoring was readjusted to raise the avg score back to 1000.
that doesn't really answer your question, but i can tell you that it's easier to get a high score now than it used to be.
