When I registered for the SAT I and my first two SAT IIs, I didn't bother sending the scores anywhere, since I knew I would just have to send them again eventually so all my scores would appear on the report. But, as I found myself registering for my third and final SAT II on June 5th, I realized that if I ever wanted to take advantage of the 4 free score reports, now would be the time to do it. So my question is, if I send score reports to 4 colleges, will they just sort of keep them until next winter when I apply there? Like, if a college gets a random score report from a random girl they've never heard of, do they just sort of hold on to it? This sounds liek a weird question, but I couldn't find the answer on the college board website or by searching through old posts. Thanks in advance.

From what I've heard, it depends on the school. Many schools, I believe, will keep those random score reports for a year or two; others will not wait that long. This is just what I've heard, not necessarily true. You might want to wait for another post to verify or call the schools you're sending the reports to and ask them yourself.
