Hello

I am an indian soph. I go to thomas jefferson high school for science and tech in virginia. it is rated as one of the top 5 public high schools in the nation.


I do not know much about weighted and unweighted GPA, but right now I have between a 3.97 and a 403 rite now with my the extra .5 from my one ap course, ap compsci. all courses are considered honors. i predict i am getting a 4 on the ap exam in compsci. from my school, anually, 40-50% of applicants get accepted into MIT each year.

My SATs so far...
in 8th grade i got a 1290 (750M and a 540V).

on the psat in 10th grade which i did not study for at all (what arrogance i displayed as i look back) i got a 185 (69M, 56V, 60W). I am hoping for at least a 220 this coming october.

I got an internship for army labs. I hope to get at least 1 paper published.

I plan on taking AP Psych, precalc, ap chem/ap bio, ap us history.

my ecs: crew, fbla, model un, math team; last year: young dems, botball, aeromodeling and robotics, astronomy

I am a prestige whore. I want to go to any ivy, MIT, or stanford. Do you have any advice for what I should do? Can some of you guys tell me about DECA?
