I haven't learned one new thing this year in AP CS. I was going to begin teaching myself from Barron's.

Yah our Java class is only up to creating our own classes (we started 2 weeks ago). But we have AP java next year (it's a two year course at our HS - I'm in year 1 now) so we should be fine. I'd use a Barron's book or try online tutorial sites.

Traci87, I'm using Princeton Review ("Cracking The AP Computer Science Exam")... My teacher recommended the Barrons book.. but I feel that Princeton Review presents the info in an easier-to-read format. So I would suggest either PR or Barrons for CompSci

The Barron's is good. I'm using it to study for AB.
