And my science fell by 11.5 since last time! But I improved my math by e^2 (that doesn't mean i got e^5 last time!) so it's good.

Whee! I got a 35000 V, and 0 M. I don't know how I got a 0 in math. So.. that adds up to be 240?
By Conker (Conker) on Friday, April 09, 2004 - 08:08 am: Edit
I got an 800 in math and a 320 in verbal. As you can see, English really isn't my strong point. So I guess that would give me an SAT score of 1050?

Get over the fact that CC has a lot of smart people. This is really pathetic.

I walked into the testing room with an abacus and my sandbox. The proctor didnt think it was fair since everyone else had TI-89's so he took away my abacus. In the end I was forced to use my little sandbox like by boy Archimedes. I guess it worked for me...

Kewlkiwi - Use the prt scr / print screen button on your keyboard. It will copy your current screen to the clipboard so that you can paste it in any art program.

Gmf05, can you beat this?
By Gmf05 (Gmf05) on Saturday, April 10, 2004 - 12:48 pm: Edit
Heh, I've got the same Math IIC score, but I can't say the same for my writing (730 - maybe 800 after May) You've got me beat for now Tsunashima =P
By Tsunashima1 (Tsunashima1) on Saturday, April 10, 2004 - 12:51 pm: Edit
That was pure luck :-) It turned out the essay question was something I answered in one of the practice tests, so that helped me quite a bit.
Which science will you take?
By Gmf05 (Gmf05) on Saturday, April 10, 2004 - 12:52 pm: Edit
I'm looking at Physics since I'm in AP now. I kinda wish I'd done Chemistry last year after taking honors chem, but it's too late now, I'd do horribly.

Nobody lies about their scores, people. You're acting like 12-year-olds
By Just_Forget_Me (Just_Forget_Me) on Saturday, April 10, 2004 - 03:05 pm: Edit
Gmf, Tsunashima - Do you know of any LACs/CASs that require a science SAT II? If not, I'll hope to join the 800 * 5 club after I take writing in June. There's no way I could pull an 800 on physics chem (well, I guess (.25)^52 % chance).
By Gmf05 (Gmf05) on Saturday, April 10, 2004 - 06:03 pm: Edit
I think it's more like .2^60 chance, but I'm not positive. Anyway, I don't know of any BUT I haven't researched LACs too heavily. So they may be out there, but I'm not sure. I can't say I've seen any that do. However, you could take it just to see what you get since most all colleges consider only highest 3 scores anyway and if you've got good scores where it counts (your major and related fields) I don't think it'll hurt. Just my opinion though. What you might be able to do is not take it for now...research this summer/fall and if you find one then take an October SAT II.
By Gmf05 (Gmf05) on Saturday, April 10, 2004 - 06:15 pm: Edit
Yes that 800*5 club is pretty select. I think if I take some writing practices and work my butt off (and remember physics long enough) it's possible. *Fingers crossed*
By Just_Forget_Me (Just_Forget_Me) on Sunday, April 11, 2004 - 01:38 pm: Edit
Yeah, I'm thinking I can probably take bio early next year if it turns out I need a science-I'm feeling a little behind right now just with my 2 APs + 1 SAT II. Good luck with the writing, and the 4000 club.
By Mrbesch (Mrbesch) on Sunday, April 11, 2004 - 03:55 pm: Edit
I managed to a get a 1 on my SAT I (.11 math, .89 verbal) and because of that achievement, Harvard has already accepted me with a full scholarship.
On my list of EC's, I have
-Conquered communism in the USSR
-Captured Saddam Hussein
-Introduced Bob Dole to Viagra
Also, my GPA is a 180.00, unweighted. Weighted, the number is somewhere between 8,000,000,000 and Roseanne's waistline in miles.
