i got an 800v 740m, and im angry at myself. i should be happy! but im angry because my math isnt higher! part of it may by my mom saying "well, your math didnt improve much from last time", but come on! i guess if the scores were reversed i'd be happier, since im going into engineering. but still. it reminds me of an interview i once read with a very wealthy man. the guy couldnt figure out why people made such a big deal of him. "I'm ONLY worth 10 million dollars" he was quoted as saying.
gah, someone beat some sense into me.

hey i got the same score (same breakdown too) & my mom also said that too! freaky. but im happy, 800 V is harder to get than 800 M. Also a 740 M is a very high math score and is not much of a difference from a 800-- i seriously doubt colleges will see ur math skills as other than excellent.

Same way I felt after getting 800 V, 750 M in October. My friends got so mad at me for being upset with my score, but as you can tell by my screenname, I am supposed to do better in the math section than the verbal section! Anything else is unnatural!

in all of our cases, we got about the same # wrong in both math and verbal i bet, but because of the curve our verbal scores are higher.
did any of you risk doing a retake?

it's okay. I feel the same way about myself right now. Maybe the math scale was more strict this time around.
