just curious if EVERYONE here studied for their standardized tests or not. so,
1. did you ever study for an SAT or ACT?
2. did you make what you wanted/expected?

didn't study at all for the ACT, hardly had an idea what was on it and got a 34. Did study for SAT's just vocab and some practice problems here and there for a week or two before the test got a 1520 on the PSAT, then a 1370 on the real thing, i personally think i got luck on my side on the two good scores

I didn't study for the ACT that I took on Saturday. It's my first, so I guess we'll see soon how I did...

I studied my butt off for the SAT and got a 1590. Before I started working I was getting around a 1400, so it is possible haha. I looked at the ACT but didn't prepare for it and got a 36. My opinion, and lots of other people I have talked to, say that the ACT is much easier than the SAT. I think the tough part of the ACT is getting over the vocabulary. Dunno if this helps.

in the second to last line of my previous post I meant the SAT vocabulary is hard not the ACT.

didn't study for ACT, unless you count the PLAN, but it wasn't a very good practice because it was misleadingly simple and I had so much time left, whereas ACT i almost ran out. did better than i expected

1. no (do practice tests count, i didnt look back over)

1. I studied about 3 hours for SAT
2. I did better than i thought i would have (thought i would get 1500-1540, got 1550-1590)

Didn't study, ended up getting what I thought I was going to get but in retrospect I'm still a bit disappointed by it.

I studied for SAT but not ACT.
We'll see how I do, haha...

I studied for the SAT a bunch... I took a class in it and took a pratice test or two. Maybe that isn't SO much, but I took the SAT twice and got a 1390 and 1420 (1470 combined though).
I didn't study at all for the ACT and got a 36....
I think the ACT is an easier test.

first time I did not study at ALL - not even one practice test or reading the rules. 1270
second time I studied like mad for verbal only - rose my verbal score 70 pts and math stayed the same 1340
next time i am studying like crazy for math.
we will see what happens.

1. I did not study.
2. I did not really expect something (I got 1560), but I was a bit pleased.
