Should I retake a 730 Writing Skills SATII (I've got an 800 MathIIC)? What would be a good score on Physics to balance out - Any magic number besides 800 =p?

That depends...do you normally get fairly easy As in honors or AP English? If so, then it might be worth retaking if you can bump it up 30 points or more. Otherwise it's probably a fine score.
Also depends on what you're planning to major in.
And I don't think one SAT II score balances out another. The physics one is notoriously hard so I wouldn't count on that one being 750+ unless you're damn good at physics.

I'm in AP Physics, which I have an A in. (Probably 5 out of 30+ people have this, it's a difficult class.) I feel I can get an 800. I took the practice at collegeboard.com and missed one question on nuclear physics (which we haven't covered yet.) Though I think it was only half a test.
Anyway, I think I could get +30 point on writing. Most of my points off were on my essay which I felt was crap, I was just way too lazy on test day to revise or anything. (Grrr) I'd like to major in literature possibly so I imagine I should shoot for something over 750. Opinions?
