we get 4 free score reports sent to colleges of our choice if we name them upon registration.
I'm still a junior, so i haven't filled out my applications yet, but i'm fairly certain about the schools i will apply to. will the college board send out these school reports immediately after they score the test? if so, will colleges hang on to them for next year?
If not, will college board send the scores of just this test next year...or will it consist of all sats i take this year? if they will send a consolidated report, should i name different schools when i register for my next sat?

When you send a score report, the school gets the scores from all the SAT tests (including SAT II's) you have taken. (The only exceptions to this is if you score was for a 7th grade talent search or if you took a test when Score Choice was still avaliable.) If you don't send the score reports when you register, you'll have to pay for the reports later. When I registered for the SAT I, I figured it couldn't hurt to send colleges the scores so I listed 4 schools I was thinking about. I don't know if the colleges keep the scores or not but I'm going to have to resend my scores anyway after I take more SAT II's. Hope that helps.
