I hear of very few people who actually take the SAT II Literature test compared to writing and IIC and the others. Is it worth it? How much preparation is necessary? How hard is it compared to the other tests?
Thanks.

Bleh, I hated the Lit test. I'm a Math guy but took Writing, (then) Math IIC, (then) Lit and bombed the Lit. My scores were 740, 800, 620 resepectively. If I really wanted to accel on the Lit (or if you'd like to), I'd strongly encourage you to take it first or second when you are focused and not anxious to get out of there.

Well, is it useful to have both 800 on writing and literature? Or is one just fine?

Just one is fine. For most majors, writing is probably more useful than literature, unless you're going for a more liberal arts kind of degree.
