Is the content covered on both exams the same? Is the multiple-choice section of the AP exam pretty equivalent to the SAT II?

I think that the SAT II US HIST is easier, because you dont have to wright an essay. The content for both exams, i believe, is pretty much the same. I couldnt hurt to check out "10 REAL SAT IIs.

They cover the same material, but the AP test goes more in depth and is significatly more challenging. Plus, the AP test has essays.
Same with SAT II Chem and AP chem. You can get a 5 on the AP exam and a 650 on the Sat II or an 800 on the SAT II and a 3 on the ap exam.
