Hello all,
I took the January test and got 800 m, 760 v. Should I retake the test? One question: Do colleges see every score you got or do they choose the top scores only? (What if someone took it 10 times and got one 1600?)

1560 is an amazing score. why would u want to retake? theres not much difference between that and a 1600-and colleges know that. yes they see every score. rule of thumb- no more than 3-4 times.

Thx, I think I must have got lucky that time w/ verbal. I usually get <700 on verbal practice tests.

If you think you got lucky on the verbal, why would you risk proving yourself right and getting a lower score on a retake?

what are you stupid?(no offense) why on earth would you want to take the test over again?? a 1560 is just as good as a 1600. colleges will see that you are a good potential. that is an extremely good score. if you take the test again and do worse, its gonna be hard time for you. colleges will look at you suspiciosly if you do worse. heres my advice. forget about the SAT's. your done. burn the book. have a bonfire. go toilet paper someones house. you did very well on ur SAT's. no need to take them again.

how many questions can you miss on the verbal to get a 700? what about mathh??

Retake.
Waste 40 bucks.
Get a sub 700 verbal score.
Make a fool of yourself.

Moral: Do NOT retake.
