The New SAT to be taken in 2005 will be more like the ACT. The SAT I: Reasoning Test was more like an IQ Test and was not practical. The New SAT will be an overall better measurement of achievement.

The math was something of an IQ test. The verbal is a test of vocabulary and how well you understand basic english prose, and reflects little with respect to one's IQ.

but it really isnt an IQ test if you can prepare...unless one's IQ isnt static? Can one's IQ change?...
