Are SAT II scores less important than SAT I scores? My SAT I was 1460. My SAT II's are 620,690, and 710. Did I just totally hurt my chances?

I am in the same boat as you! I have a 1400 SAT I, but 680, 670, and 670 SAT II. I am applying ED to Cornell...

Could my pretty good SAT I score, a perfect GPA, and good Extracurriculars help balance out my SAT II scores for Ivies?

SAT IIs really aggitate me. I thought I did awsome on my Chem SAT II - I got a 670 after 1 yr basic chemistry. (My school doesnt offer any higher than that) I was so happy I like to fell over. Then I come look at this board and I feel stupid. ((Especially when I consider my 540 Math IC.......))
So... yeah.

my writing satii was a 630, really need to retake, but i think i might be okay since ive talked to people who have done worse and still gotten in to good schools. My sat chem was a 780 though.
