Did anyone else get a lot of score variation on different tests in the 10 Real SAT's book? Or were everyone's scores pretty much equal?

I got a 1470-1410-1520, and I was wondering if that was normal?

my score varied +-150 pts each time. Sometimes I score under 1200 and sometimes over 1400. I guess each test varies in difficulty.

A few possibilities:
1. It may sound stupid, but make sure you graded everything correctly and gave yourself enough time (especially for that 2nd test). A few raw points difference makes a huge difference as does accidentally giving yourself 5 minutes too little or too much.
2. Sometimes it just happens. I took 4-5 10 Real SAT's and got a 1400-1430 on all of them, which shows a clear level of consistancy. I just took the Oct test and got a 1510. Sometimes you just get lucky: there are a disproportional amount of vocab. words that you know, or a few more math problems than usual that you have encountered before, and therefore know how to do.

They do vary a bit in difficulty, but the curves keep the scores pretty consistant from test to test

i got a 1600, 1520. So i think there is some discrepancy.

I got a 1500 and then a 1600. I find I do better on the more recent test and worse on the older ones

1380-1400-1380-1410-1430-1440-1430-1460-1470-1490-1470-1490

(12 exams b/c I used two different editions)

Actual SAT: 1410

I get between 1450 to 1550 on the 10 Real Sat Practice tests (mode is about 1480), hopefully that is consistant with my SAT score in November.

I took 4 of the 10 Real SATs and first I got 1600 (but I kinda cheated when I did it and looked at the answers in the back of the book when I wasn't sure but I didn't cheat on the rest) then 1470, then 1570 then 1600. I got a 1600 on the SATs that count.
