throw me any info and tips (taking it soon :S), but more specifically
1. we need a cassette player and headphones each?
How does that go? Don't people play over bits they missed? or does the proctor squint at everyone and go 'one...two...three...press play!' and then run around yelling at ppl who didn't do it on time....?!
2. We get one chance to listen through each passage? that's....hard....isn't it?
thx for anything

1. Well I haven't taken it either, but I think they force you to stop the cassette and take off your headphones after the twenty minutes of listening is up. That basically means that if you rewinded to listen again, that you probably won't have a chance to listen to the last few questions.
2. Yes it is hard, but that's why people who take the listening language tests are usually more competent at the language.
