-you cannot use a straightedge
-lines that seems parallel may not be
-90 degree angles w/ the square thing are still 90 deg angles
-lines are actually longer or shorter than they seem.
-Angles are bigger or smaller than they seem.

You would know when you see the phrase "Figure not drawn to scale" under the image.
