What was the answer to the Frederick Dogulas sentance completion?

By Ajhayes (Ajhayes) on Monday, October 13, 2003 - 02:15 pm: Edit

I narrowed it down to two: one for the first blank was "autonomy" and the other was "prosperity". I chose the "autonomy" one. Please say I'm right.

hmm, that's a chewy question, i put prosperity and constraints, i felt because it gave him a sense of success or prosperity and well constraints is fairly obvious, but i was battling over the two

correct

Yep - autonomy - the key word was control (at the end of the sentence) He was free from control of others; thus he has self-control or ability to govern oneself, which is autonomy (and then dictates goes with that as well).
