I took the SAT1 today and I think I got all the math questions right and between 5-8 (one of those omitted) verbal questions wrong. Can someone give me a projected SAT1 score? Thanks.

5-8 missed verbal questions = 740-750ish I think.
By Ajhayes (Ajhayes) on Saturday, October 11, 2003 - 11:50 pm: Edit
I really hope you're both right (and I hope I'm accurate in my assumption of how many I missed). I get a 1500+ I will go out an celebrate.

How about skipping about 6 verbal and guessing (limiting down to two) on about 20. *I dont think I guessed on that many but im factoring in ones I mightve got wrong*

yeah, 1500+ calls for at least one night of extreme boozing. Honestly, how better to reward those hard working brain cells than by killing them? :p

Please help: If i get a 52 raw score on math what do u expect my score to be?
Please give me ranges at least? im a newb at this stuff

60 = perfect math... 55 = 720-740 ... 52 is on the brink of 700 i guess.

I'm sure I got one verbal wrong (guilt/regret) and that I left 15 QC math blank.
And let's just suppose I madelike 2 other errors cuz of carelessness- one math and one verbal.
Considering everything else besides those is right, what would my score amount to?

By Captcalculus (Captcalculus) on Sunday, October 12, 2003 - 03:38 pm: Edit

How about 2-4 Verbal wrong, and 1-2 math wrong?
By Misterbobbit (Misterbobbit) on Sunday, October 12, 2003 - 10:04 pm: Edit
If it's a really tough Verbal score, 8 wrong could mean a 700 or so. I got 8 V wrong 1 omit and i got a 690 in may 2k3
By Underqualified (Underqualified) on Sunday, October 12, 2003 - 10:32 pm: Edit
I am pretty sure i got 4 math wrong, 3 of them grid-ins and 1 QC.
For verbal, I am guessing 4-5 wrong.
What kind of score might this get me?

Freudboy, dial back the attitude or you're gone.
By Ilovemath (Ilovemath) on Monday, October 13, 2003 - 12:14 am: Edit
Do you think the curve will be harsh for math this time? I am pretty sure I only got 1 wrong. Think that will still be an 800, or is the curve going to be bad enough to knock that down?
By Gabypa (Gabypa) on Monday, October 13, 2003 - 12:42 am: Edit
I really don't know about all this deal about curves, but I do know that it depends WHERE you made the mistake.
I mean, if it was a Grid-in, then that's just jolly. If it was a Multiple-Choice - that's okay. But if it was a QC, I wouldn't be so happy about it.
