Supposing you get 2 questions wrong, which is -2.5. Is that taken as a -2 on the raw score or a -3?

-2, i'm certain

Let's say you answered 78 of the verbal qs correctly, but two incorrectly. Your raw score would be 78 - (.25x2). This equals 77.5, which rounds up to 78.

Wishful thinking Neona :)

It is 78 minus 2 minus 1/2 or 75.5 rounded to 76

I you omitted 2, it would be 76 also.

However, 76 and 78 should still yield a 800!
