how are you going to fix up your score to the 800s? by working out on math workbooks? how do you actually "improve" a math score is it possible for a person scoring 400-500 to score upto a 700? what was your initial math score? how long have you been working at maths?

two years ago, i took a SAT for the very first time, i don't even know what it is. Back then, my score is 500 something.
Now i am capable of scoring in the range 750-800. Improvement is possible.
However, i don't know how good is your math. If you didn't slept through math classes, then i don't think you should have any problem. Just be more careful.
Tha attitude is also important, don't take math as if it is a torture take it as if it is a pleasurable experience.
good luck
