I got a 1570(800M 770V) on my SAT I so all's well and good. Except for one thing: I took them during sophomore year so my counselor told me that it was too early for most colleges because they are looking for Junior year scores. She also said that I should take them again to prove it wasn't a fluke. I have good grades and an 800 Chm SAT II so far so I hope that will show them it's not a fluke. My question is, based on what I've said, should I take them again?

Your counselor talks - pardon me - BS.
Don't retake, for God's sake.

I'm kind of concerned because my counselor has to write a recommendation letter and if she told me to take it again, and she finds out I don't, what will that do to her recommendation?

I think you are worried too much... nobody can force you to take the SAT.
