I missed a few analogies. I took the October 2001 as a sophomore and got a 1510 800 math. At the time i aced the analogies and sentence completions. However after a 2 year hiatus my skills seem to have diminished. I missed 4 analogies from the 19 you posted. I will give you the bridge i formed, and want you to see if my thinking is correct. Feel free to give any tips.
5.DEVOUR : INGEST breathe : inhale ========== gulp:drink Devour is to ingest voraciously To gulp is to drink voraciously
7.PLAYWRIGHT : DRAMA : stenographer : transcript ========= novelist:fiction Playwright writes a drama a novelist writes fiction
13.INDEFATIGABLE : TIRE : intransigent : compromise =========== WAS CORRECT - I wanted to see the discussion Indefatigable can't tire Intransignent won't comprise or is unwilling
17.DESERTER : ARMY turncoat : enemy ======== dropout:society Deserter gives up on the army a dropout gives up on society. Also, the other choices didn't make sense.
STOWAWAY : FARE
A.thief : money
B.employee : salary
C.spectator : admission
D.member : dues
E.squatter : rent
I didn't know what stowaway
meant, but i should have concentrated on fare. A fare is something you pay. This eliminates A and B. I tried a stowaway pays a far. However, this fit CDE. so maybe a stowaway doesn't pay a fare? this eliminates C and D. so E is the answer. Is my logic correct.
HEARING AID : EARS :
toothbrush : teeth
shampoo : hair
glasses : eyes
scissors : nails
shoes : feet
A hearing aid is put in your ears to help you hear
glasses are put in front of your eyes to help you see? I wasn't sure, because when I did it originally i said glasses are put on your eyes, and that didn't make sense. I will order the practice you gave and practice.
Since I've reached 710, I think the only way to improve is to practice.

Tootall~
It looks fine to me.
Regarding stowaway, I did not look up the definition but I am 99% sure that it is a type of clandestine passenger, usually on a cruiser ship.
I am sorry to have thown you a curveball with the indefatigable:tire.
One tip that I read for building bridges is to make sure that EVERY bridge contains the words IS or MEANS. Also remember that if a bridge yields TWO or MORE correct answers, it means that the bridge was too weak and needs to be refined.

hey, do u have any advice for cr? I think you got a 760 nice job. I hope i can get around there. Thanks for the confirmation and the bridge making tip. Don't worry about the curveball, it make me double check my bridge which I need to do on test day.
