Hi,
My first language is not English but i am fairly proficient at English (690 V SAT). Many colleges require TOEFL for those who's first language is not English, but is there any way to opt out of the TOEFL with my sat verbal score?

Yes. Many colleges not "require", but offer TOEFL as an option.

=) I took it when I was a sophomore, after 2 years of English. I got a 653. When I took my first SAT, I got 570 on my verbal.
So you're set; don't even waste time studying for it.

I got 293/300 on CBT TOEFL and 6/6 in TWE. My SAT verbal was 650.
I would suggest that you seriously consider takeing TOEFL as some colleges may hold back the admission decision(s) .

You have a 690 verbal. With that score, there should really be no reason to take TOEFL. Do make sure to ask colleges first, hosever.

hey is 273 a good score ,will it be enough for the top schools. The 5 on the essay brought my score down
...I didn't pay much attention to the test 'coz I thought that there is a minimal score of 250 for most schools...but now i dunno...I suppose that the SAT 1 & 2 are the things that really matter...isn't that right?
