hey! I'm taking the SAT II writing in Oct, I guess the best way to study is to train writing 20 mintues essays. If you remember your essay topic, or have any advices, please post them!

No, you have 20 minutes for the essay and 40 minutes for the multiple choice.

One hour split between essay and multiple choice. You could spend more than 20 min on essay if you do m/c fast enough.

Serene, so you could go back to your essay if you finish m/c before time is called?
This might sound stupid, but can you write your essay with a pencil?

Yes, if you finish the m/c section early, you are allowed to go back to your essay.
You can write either in pen or pencil.(good question, I asked my proctor the same Q and he didn't know the answer to it)
