Is there any reason other than time and money not to take the ACT and SAT again and again untill you get the best score you can on them? Do collages see all of your ACT and SAT scores or just the ones you choose to send?

In my opinion, if in taking the SAT's again and again you get a better score each time, it's worth it. Some, however, argue that admissions com's frown upon too many takings (usually more than 3). But surely a brilliant (third + X)th-taking brilliant score looks far more impressive than a first- or second- or third-taking mediocre score.

Then again, predicting an ACOM's perception of multiple-takings is a complex behavioral science, so there's no definite ans to your question.

Can you be picky about which SAT/ACT scores you send them so they don't know how many times you took the test?
