I remember you saying that you took a practice test from barron, I forgot what you scored on it. I was wondering what scale did you use, since barron's doesn't give you an actual score.

Practice test score on Barrons : 1270, 1250
Practice test score on Reals: 1490, 1480
The math is a lot harder, and the CR questions are tricky. But they do the job.

I want your verbal score Serene. Any advice on CR? Like when you're reading the passages what is your thought process like? Do you totally forget you have to answer questions and just read it like a magazine? Also do you read a lot, and are magazines better prep than novels? I finish the sentence completions and analogies in 8-9 minutes, this leaves me quite a bit of time for cr. However, I always miss about 6 out of the 40. Fortunately, I don't miss any analogies or sent completions.

Hmm... yeah, I read it like a magazine. no magazines aren't better prep. What goes through my mind, well... every time you finish a paragraph ask yourself what you just read, see if you can summarize it in your own words.
