Would a 5 on the AP English languge tests overcome a 66th percentile on the SAT II writing? I have very little time to retake this test.

No. AP scores are not really considered by colleges at all, unless you get a C in the class and a 5 on the exam. Seeing as I have yet to find a university that requires me to send them my AP transcript before I'm admitted, I figure that reporting AP scores is very unofficial/supplementary to one's application. Definitely take the writing again, as it's becoming VERY important (turning into a section on the SAT) and quite easy to score well on.
