I'm registered to take the MathIIC this Saturday -I'm currently a junior and taking Honors Math Analysis. I've always been very good in math, but we haven't covered some of the material which makes up the toughest portion of the IIC. Am I better off taking the IC now and taking the IIC in May or June or should I just take the IIC and perhaps take it again in May or June. I am planning to apply to highly selective schools next fall and am uncertain which way I should go on this.

Take the 1C now, though the scaling is tougher than 2c. You need to know a good deal about functions and graphs and trig. before you attempt the 2c.
