Hey, on my October SAT's, I got a 1460 (730 split). Should I retake the SAT's again in November? The problem is that I don't really have good II's, I am currently registered for the Writing and IIC exam. My May scores are 650 Writing, 720 Math IC, and 740 Molecular Bio. I am applying to Harvard and Stanford early. Should I retake the Writing and take the IIC exam in November or should I take the I's again? If I do take the II's, it is likely I will get low to mid 700s (this is what I get on the practices), but with the I's, it is possible and likely I will break 1500 (considering, I was feeling extremely insecure about what my score was going to be). With my overall application, I come from a top public school (Greenwich, CT), I am lacking in grades (because one year is pulling me down), but I have an overall upward trend at the most rigorous courseload at this competitive public school; thus, I am relying on test scores to a certain extent to show my academic compotence/ability (extracurriculars I think are decent)
