I am wondering if my 720 SAT® II Math IIC score will get me into any "competitive" colleges.

Depends on what you define "competitive". With MIT or Caltech is horrible but not bad with lower-half first tier colleges.

I agree, but I wouldn't say it's HORRIBLE... it's just not, well, good enough for MIT or Caltech... unless you have like everything else perfect in math and science and awards and blahblahblah. But a 720 by itself is great for many colleges. (I, myself, would probably not get above a 720).

A 720 for the more selective colleges (HYP, MIT, etc.) is simply good. Not great, but good. Only retake it if you can get higher, because if you score lower then you're in trouble. Personally, I feel that any score 700+ is good enough for any college in the nation.
