if a college (such as columbia) asks for *either* SAT or ACT, and you did exceptionally well on both.....would it be wise to send both in to show that u could do well on the two kinds of tests? or should i follow the instructions and only send one?
If i should only send one, which should i send? (if i did equally + exceptionally well on both).

If the scores are in the relatively same range, as yours are, then just send them both to show that it wasn't just a fluke.

They may both show up on your high school transcript - they are at our school, along with PSAT and state testing scores.

Send both. As Columbia requires SAT II's, your SAT I will be sent no matter what when you request any SAT score to be sent. Not sure what you consider equally well but school will consider what it believes to be the higher. Also, though I cannot speak for all high school transcripts, some I am aware of actually list your scores for both tests on the transcript.
