in my high school chemistry class, everything was more earth science than chemistry. and of course i didn't learn anything and got a very low score in the SATII. what book should i use for raising my score?

I suggest Barrons. If you read every chapter in that and do each mini-test at the end of each chapter, you should be fine. It sucks that your class sucks because I learned almost all of my chem knowledge for the test via my class. Definately use Barrons.
