I'm going to be a junior next year, and took the SAT II Bio E. One word... horrible... after taking a very "mild" honors biology course. I plan on taking the other SAT II's in writing, and one of the maths, I'm not quite sure which one yet. Also I may possibly take chem(which I'd do a lot better in then bio). If i take those 3... and score high... can i just "forget" that i ever took the bio, and leave it out of my application? Do I have to put it?(I don't plan on retaking it) Can I just put my other scores, and just "leave the biology score out?"

Also, I just bought the Barron's "How to prepare for the SAT I" Is it any good, for SAT prep? I used Princeton Reviews book for the SAT II Bio E test, read it 3 times, did horrible. I don't recommend it.

after my sophomore year and taking honors biology I took the sat 2 bio E also because I thought e would be easier than m. Well i didnt study at all since there was score choice. I did terrible (a 580 49th percentile). I think I would have done better on M but still not great since there was a lot of stuff that we never covered on the test. Well in regards to your question. On college apps you put down the 3 sat2's that you want them to take into consideration (some leave space for more). However they get your score report from the college board that includes ALL SAT2's that you have taken. so no you cant just forget about it. It wont hurt you most likely, but they will still see it.

Well how "horrible" is it? It could be that you think 600 is horrible when it isn't too bad if you have good scores on your other ones?

All your SAT II scores get sent out on a score report.
