What would be the best prep book for SAT 2 Biology? Any suggestions?

I am going to take the SAT 2 biology and I use both barron's and princeton reviews.

Kaplan's book was very thorough. I found the practice tests to be hard too.

try kaplan and barron's. they make a pretty good combination, and force you to know everything thoroughly

Kaplan is extremely detailed, yet thorough. I think it is a great book, but when you get to the point where u get above a 750 on their practice tests, and get a 740 on the real thing, there is a problem. i'd reccommend Princeton Review second, and i wouldn't reccommend barrons at all. Their practice tests are too easy, and have alot of garbage content and questions. Kaplan content, and their practice tests, plus the princeton tests, plus the 1998 released bio sat2 in the 22 real's book is the best way to go. Remember, no matter how much u study, the person who can deal with experments and get them right will be the one to break 760 most of the time.

Kaplan's is good, but the exams are harder than the actual test (or at least they were when I took it). Any version of the book will do, I don't think they've revised/updated in years, but you should confirm that with the publisher first.

I like CliffsNotes. I studied that and my notes for the AP exam. Skimmed through Barrons & PR for a couple hours and got a 750 (bio-e)

once u have a decent barrons or princeton review book and u've reviewed...its much more important to preclude any possibility of getting nervous DURING the test...i remember the actual content questions went fast with me, and i stopped dead once i got to the experiments...its really key that you know how to think critically for those, because sometimes, the experiments aren't simple things you've done in an AP bio class or even ones you've heard of in an H bio class...take time on those if your ahead of time on the normal mult choice
