Hi I'm an international student and I was wondering if someone could answer this for me (I haven't been able to find a definite answer). If someone could comment on whether the Ivies (especially UPENN & cornell), the UCs, northwestern and nyu take the highest maths and highest verbal, i'd really appreciate it.

Yes, colleges usually take your highest Math and your highest Verbal scores.

but dont they see all of your scores?

Yes, but their policy is usually to take the highest Verbal and Math score. However, some colleges may not follow this custom, so ask the colleges you are interested in about their SAT score policy.
