Anyone have suggestions for good SAT II writing books?

Yes. Try the Princeton Review book on SAT II Writing. I don't know why, but I feel as though the PR books are, in some way, better than the other prep books. However, there are other great prep books, such as Kaplan.

The book I am using is SAT II: English Writing/Literature by Princeton Review and I am happy with it.

I heard the PR book wasn't that great though. What about the Kaplan book?

I liked the Kaplan book as well as the PR book. If you don't like the PR book, try the Kaplan book.

I used Barron's and got 760 on the test. The writing a 20 minute essay part was particularly useful. Now, considering I'm an international, my score is pretty good so I enthusiasticly (what a word!) recommend Barron's. In fact, to me Barron's books are the best prep books out there.
