Hi,
I'm contemplating taking the Lit SAT II. How difficult is it and what kind of preparation does one need to do ? Is comprehension based or is it more subject oriented ? My brother scored a 740 in 1997 without ever having read a book in his life that would classify, even remotely, as literature. He also did not take any Lit courses in school. However, people say that the test form has changed and is now more 'knowledge based' than it was a few years ago -- is this true ? I was hoping you could give me some insight on the current nature of the test.
Thank you,
Zubek

If you pick up a prep book and read it (e.g. Princeton Review), you should have no problem with the Lit test. The test, from what I've heard (reputable sources) is made for people who can memorize literary devises and vocab.
