I took the writing sat II in 10th grade and i got a 690-now that there's no score choice, is it worth it for me to retake it if i want to get into nyu and columbia?

With a little studying, you could possibly raise your score into the 700s. Why not go for it?

yes, definitely go for it! you really should have a score closer to the 750 mark.
