I got either 3-4 wrong on the math section. 2 of them, however, were Grid ins. Is there any chance I get a 750 math? Thanks guys

assuming you didn't get any QC questions wrong, i would estimate your math score to be around 740-760. getting grid-ins wrong instead of regular questions was a good choice, lol. it helps you a lot.
based on what you said about your verbal, i estimate your SAT score to be somewhere from 1430-1470.

Thanks arthur. I was really hoping for that 1500, but I guess a 1450 is nearly as good. I had been scoring 1500+ on most practice tests, with scores of 1490,1570,1570,1550,1590,1550. I was really hoping for a 1550, but I don't really know what happened to me. Maybe it has to do with the fact I only got 5 hours of sleep the night before... who knows. Anyway, looks like I will have to study over the summer for the September exam... fun.
Arthur, thanks for your insight, this is pretty much what I expected. And from reading your posts, it looks like you are on track to get 1550 or higher, congrats! That should be good enough to get you into nearly all of the top schools. Hopefully I will do as well you next time!

There's a september SAT?

yeah, my SAT score should be good enough for any college, but i won't be getting into the top colleges. my gpa is too low.
anyway, it sucks that you did not meet your expectations for the may SAT. i know the feeling, i screwed up in april. don't sweat it. you will get it next time.
why don't you take the june SAT?

i think it may not be 750 because this one was easier than usual, possibly like the Jan one, probab u could get 720, if you got 4 wrong. There is the possibility that so many takers were the ones who want just a 1200-1300, so the scale might be higher.

Arthur I have certainly considered that, and it is definitly an option. However, I think I would like to do more prep work. I will proboboly memorize one of those 3700 word lists as well as take every practice test I can get my hands on.
In addition, I will need to take SAT IIs, in this case math IIC. Perhaps I could take that as a senior though...

keep in mind that he said 2 of them were gridins. thus, even if he got 4 wrong, that's only 4 raw points off.
the average for 4 raw points off is about 740. i disagree about this test being easier than usual. yes, the verbal was easier than usual imo, but i thought the math was average.

i dont think test reults affect curve, isnt it determined b4 the test is given? wow, i hope its AFTER its taken, cause then all those 1100 people will widen the curve nice and fat
