Hi people,
I took SAT I in June 2002, and obtained a score of 800M, 690V. I was wondering if this is enough to get me to my schools of choice: Caltech, Cornell, JHS, UC berkley...etc
I registered for Maths IIC for the Jan 2003 test date. Do you think I should change the test from SAT II to SAT I? (to retake SAT I instead)
And how do I go about changing it?
Please help.
Thanks.

don't u think takikng the Jan. 2003 math IIC test is a little too late or at least way too close to the application deadline for u to submit it in on time? Change u're testing date to more like October.

Hmm...
Well, I'm planning to apply in 2003.
But anyway, I've changed the dates, and would be taking MathsIIC in Nov, SATI in Jan.
Btw, when colleges say they use the 2 highest score for SAT1, do they mean:
1. highest for V + highest for M
OR
2. Highest combined test score obtained in one testing(e.g using 1490 over 1300)

Greg, colleges use the highest verbal score plus the highest math score.
