I'm taking this test in three days, and I'm freaking out.
Does anybody that has taken it have any tips? What are you guys doing to study?
Thanks in advance.

I'm taking it too, and other than cramming (which isn't that great) there's not much you can do for a foreign language test. I know that I will inevitably screw up on the listening b/c I've done listening for a grand total of 4 times in my AP class and about twice last year. I am already expecting a 3 and if I study hard- i mean pooping in my pants- hard, I might* Might get a 4. Is it worth it? No, I am way too lazy to do so. I suggest just chill out and study but don't go overboard or you'll freak out.

I'm taking it, but I'm a native speaker, so there's no prob with me.
The only thing is that my teacher said I have the potential of getting only a 3 (not a 4 or 5, a 3) on the exam. That is just sad
Make sure that you don't let the accents screw you over. And get enough SLEEP b4 exam day.
Good luck.

Is there an SAT 11 Spanish test?
| By Ccsgrl (Ccsgrl) on Tuesday, May 06, 2003 - 04:48 pm: Edit |
yes. there's spanish w/ listening and just spanish (w/o listening). From the looks of it, it didn't look too bad- in fact, probably easier than AP.

yeah, the spanish was ridiculously hard this year. i think the test makers were really mad when they made this test two years ago. i'm not a native speaker but my parents speak it all the time (sad right?) but even my friends who are native speakers were confused. i can't talk about the environment in english, what makes them think i can talk about it in spanish?!?! i'm shooting for a two. i hear some public universities will award a small amount of credit for a 2...

Does anyone have a book that tells what composite score you have to get out of the total score to get a 3, 4, and 5?
