what do you think when you see these SAT I scores paired with a 3.99 GPA UW?

May 2002 770M 600V (sophmore)
December 2002 720M 700 V (junior)
April 2003 800M 660V (junior)

What would you think...?

some examples:

(A) This kid is probably a good math student, so the December Test was probably a fluke

(B) The kid didn't do too well on the May test cause he was only a sophmore. He probably studied a lot to increase it to a 700V 8 months later in the December test.(dec. test was not a fluke)

(C) The 700V in the december test is a fluke.

(D) The April Verbal was probably a semi-fluke cause it dropped.

I'm a pretty good student at school but i can't seem to get above 1500 on the SATs.

Any opinions will be greatly appreciated.

um, you actually do have a 1500.

800M 700V composite. not sure what you're talking about; colleges will take your highest scores.

don't worry about it. they really do take highest subscores. except the UCs, i hear.

I would say "B" might be running through their minds, and there isn't anything wrong with that really.

can i just have an opinion i dont mean to compare or anything, but who would look better, heatwave with his scores, or say someone who took it once oct junior year and got an 800 M 670 V

they would look about the same the person with 800 math 670 verbal slightly less. when they say they take best subscore they mean that! imagine if they had to take into consideration subscores for 3 different tests. they would go crazy!
