Okay guys, I got you to read this so could somebody please help me out. I HAVE AN ART QUESTION. (wushhhh-ppl pushing the back command on their broswer) No seriously. Could somebody PLEASE explain to me the social, cultural, or policial implications of Pablo Picasso's work Les Desmoiselles d'Avignon? Or, are there any better works of art throughout history (from anywhere, anytime), that have a unique human form that could fit this question?
If you have read up to this point, I really appreciate it. I am anticipating your guys' thoughts, thank you.

I just google-searched Picasso plus "Les Desmoiselles d'Avignon" and got over 300 hits, including lots of background discussion. Did you know that the "ladies" in the picture were actually prostitutes? Anyway, go check out google.
