Having difficulty deciding which would lead to a more "satisfying life" I know its what you make it. But who has the more command (moneywise) a recent law grad or business school grad with an MBA. Any comments would be appreciated and no I'm not interested in a joint JD/MBA program I want to do either/or.

lol come on you should really consider the JOINT. but if not, just think about the actual jobs. Law and Business are completely differente fields and you just have to ask yourself which you'd enjoy more.

I know this is a dumb question, but how difficult is it really to do a JD/MBA program?

Is it comparable to getting a PhD?
How many years would it take and what type of workload?

thanks.

You should do a joint program. Like for instance NYU Stern and NYU Law, both top rated schools in thier fields offer a JD/MBA. It takes 4 yrs to complete. You have to get accept to both schools though. Check it out though it worth doing. You could go into corporate law such as being a lawyer for Morgan Stanley or Microsoft. But check it out
