Discus: College Confidential Café: Undecided

>> I pointed out to someone at work recently that neither of us had yet come across anyone who was truly "undecided". Makes me wonder how it's possible for the polls to keep moving back and forth.

You've come across one now. I have absolutely no idea who I will vote for in November. I am unhappy with both candidates and both parties. Neither is interested in addressing issues, seemingly content to sit back and let their respective goons attack three decade old military records.

Nobody is interested in offering anything of interest to a middle of the road voter. Both offer little or no viable leadership on the most important issue of the election -- the war on terrorism. Neither candidate inspires even a shred of confidence.

Clearly our goverment agencies have dropped the ball. Yet I see little from the current president to indicate changes have been made and no indication from the challenger that he has any kind of a plan to address the failures of the INS, CIA, FBI, FAA, etc.

I didn't think that the Demcrats could run a less inspired campaign than that of Al Gore. But, John Kerry has certainly proved me wrong on that score!

ID,
Have you ever checked out the blogosphere?

There is a whole world of serious debate going on, beyond the usual media filters, and even beyond CC! A challenge: Bookmark Instapundit.com and check the give and take there (and on all the linked blogs) with what you find on the networks after you watch the debate on Thursday.

ONE AGAIN THERE IS MORE THAN TWO PEOPLE RUNNING IN THE PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION PEOPLE! DON'T MAKE IT A POPULARITY CONTEST BY VOTING ON A CANDIDATE JUST BECAUSE EVERY ONE ELSE LIKES THEM, AND THEY'VE GOTTEN A LOT OF MEDIA COVERAGE!

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say, every one who decides on an issue or a politician before hearing the issue or politician out is an idiot! Listen to what is being said, let it swirl around that little head of yours. Then form your opinion on politicians and issues.

news flash: not every one running for office is a dem. or rep. when the media is heavily biased as it is in America, do some reseArch to find out who else is running and where they stand on issues!

No comment. I'll use my energy writing OP-Eds to my local paper. I already spent time on this issue and the WHOLE thread was deleted for unknown reasons. Quite suspicious if you ask me.
